This technique allows us to put copies of our artwork onto our pots. We scan the artwork, size it to the piece, and print it out on decal paper. The waterslide decal is applied to the fired, glazed piece, then the piece is fired again. Everyting except the iron oxide in the toner burns away, and the iron oxide fuses with the glaze to create a permanent design. We have also used this technique for corporate custom orders.
